How I spent my summer vacations

On the 5^th of May, it was the last day before the long summer vacation. I wished all my friends a happy summer vacation and then we all went to our buses. Everybody was hugging each other as they were about to meet after a long time. After going home, I kept my bag in my room and went for lunch. Then, I remembered that we had to go for my uncle’s marriage. So, I quickly ate my lunch and got ready for the trip to my uncle’s village. We even own a farm there. My three cousins had also come for the wedding. In the morning, after breakfast, we would go to our farm with my father. After going, we would water the plants. Then, we made ourselves a cricket ground to play. We used play for about two hours in the morning till the end of two days. Only once we played a team game and rest of the time, we would a play a single player game. I always used to be first as I always scored the most runs. Once, I even scored 36 runs in six balls. The ball didn’t get an even bounce as there were too many rocks which made the ball go either too high or too low. After playing, we would bath and wear new clothes for the function. My grandparents had also came with us. There were a lot of people in my uncle’s house. So, we used to sleep on the floor. For lunch and dinner, we would always go to the community hall and would have something fancy and delicious to eat. After the wedding, my parents came back to Ahmedabad, while I went to my grandparent’s place with my cousins. I had also taken my XBOX along with me to play. I had inserted into the television and then we all would play games. In the afternoon, when our elders would sleep, we would play UNO or would play a team Death match in Mini Militia. Then, when our elders would wake up, we would again play in the XBOX for some time. At 6:00, we would go down to play cricket and we would come back at 7:30. In the morning, after breakfast, we would play a new outdoor game every day and which one liked the most, we would play that every morning. Also, my grandma and my aunt would prepare some mind blowing delicacies for us.We even used to help them do some of the daily chores. We own farm there too. When we went to the farm, we would dig a small hole in the ground while our elders used to work. After returning, I did my holiday homework. In the morning, I would go to Pleasure Club with my friends to swim. I didn’t used to play and would study for the upcoming exams and Olympiads. Then, in the evening, I would play cricket with friends in our society. On the first day to school after a long time, I was glad to meet my friends, but I also miss my vacations a lot.
